Conquest & Consequence

Conquest & Consequence brings the Triumph & Tragedy system to the Pacific and East Asian theater, offering a strategic, multi-front WWII experience for three players.

Each player controls a major faction with very different challenges and goals:

• Japan seeks expansion across Asia and the Pacific, balancing military strength with limited resources.
• The Soviet/Communist faction combines the USSR in Siberia with Chinese Communist forces, using resilience and partisan warfare.
• The USA/Capitalist faction must build strength over time while supporting China and defending a vast, vulnerable sphere.

The game blends land warfare in China, naval conflict across the Pacific, and political maneuvering, all within a shared system. Naval battles are fast and decisive, while the land war emphasizes control, supply, and long-term positioning.

Like its predecessor, the game features a strong three-sided dynamic, encouraging negotiation, shifting priorities, and strategic flexibility. Players are free to explore alternate paths, from early Japanese expansion choices to different alliance and economic strategies.

A typical session plays in 4–6 hours, with constant involvement as players react to each other’s moves across multiple theaters.
