Desert Fox Deluxe

Desert Fox Deluxe is a two-player World War II operational wargame from Decision Games covering the full North African campaign from the Italian invasion of Egypt in 1940 to the final Axis defeat in Tunisia in 1943. One player commands the Axis forces, while the other commands the Allies across the deserts of Egypt and Libya and into the mountains of Tunisia.

This deluxe edition combines Desert Fox, Trail of the Fox, the Fox Killed prequel variant, and the Torch / Algeria extension into one comprehensive package. The game emphasizes maneuver, reaction, supply, port capacity, truck transport, replacements, support weapons, air power, and the long buildup needed before major desert offensives.

Each turn represents one month, and the six maps cover the campaign area from Algiers to Alexandria at 10 miles per hex. Special event cards alter reinforcements, supplies, and campaign pressures, giving both sides opportunities to exploit and problems to survive.

Contents include: rules booklet, campaign analysis and player’s guide, player aid cards, 48 event display cards, six game maps, display map, 560 counters, and two six-sided dice.
