Dungeons & Dragons: Assault of the Giants – Standard Edition is a competitive strategy board game where 3–6 players command rival giant factions and compete to claim the right to rule all giantkind.

Each giant race has its own agenda. Storm Giants seek to restore King Hekaton, Cloud Giants hunt for an ancient dragon treasure trove, and Hill Giants gather food for their monarch, Chief Guh. Players issue commands through cards, recruit new giants, attack settlements, battle rival giants, and gather resources such as food, treasure, ore, and runes.

The Standard Edition includes giant miniatures molded in colour. The Premium Edition is the version with fully painted giant miniatures, so customers looking for painted figures should check the edition carefully.

Contents include: 12 coloured giant miniatures, measuring from approximately 20mm to over 90mm tall, and 3 Giantslayer miniatures.
