Homeland in Danger: La Patrie en Danger 1814 is an Operational Studies Group wargame on the opening phase of Napoleon’s 1814 Campaign in France.

With Coalition armies advancing toward Paris after the Battle of Leipzig, Napoleon returns to the front and tries to turn a collapsing strategic situation into a sequence of sharp local victories. The game covers five battles from this desperate campaign: Brienne, La Rothière, Champaubert, Montmirail, and Vauchamps.

As part of OSG’s The Library of Napoleonic Battles system, La Patrie en Danger 1814 emphasizes command, maneuver, historical terrain, and the operational tempo of Napoleonic warfare. It is a strong fit for players interested in Napoleon’s late campaigns, where limited resources, separated enemy columns, and narrow windows of opportunity made every march and battle matter.

Requires / note: this game uses the two TLNB Universal Card Decks — French and Coalition. These decks are not included; if you do not already own them from Napoleon’s Wheel or another compatible OSG title, they can be ordered separately.
