Part of the Great Campaigns of the American Civil War series, Hood Strikes North covers General John Bell Hood’s 1864 Tennessee Campaign, from the Confederate advance through central Tennessee to the battles around Franklin and Nashville.

With one map, two countersheets, and limited special rules, this is one of the more approachable entries in the GCACW system while still offering the operational movement, command decisions, and campaign tension that define the series. Players command either Hood’s Confederate Army of Tennessee or the Union forces trying to delay, contain, and ultimately defeat the offensive before Nashville falls.
