Manila: The Savage Streets, 1945 is a solitaire World War II wargame covering the brutal urban battle for Manila in February and March 1945.

The player commands the attacking American XIV Corps, while the game system controls the Japanese defenders under Admiral Iwabuchi. American forces are more mobile, but Japanese resistance becomes stronger as the fighting moves deeper into the city, from the outskirts to the business district and fortress-like government buildings.

Each turn brings new uncertainty through random events, variable supply deliveries, hidden Japanese strength, and changing defensive strategies. The player must match or exceed the historical American advance while managing exhausted units and declining morale.
