Master and Commander: Napoleonic Naval Warfare

Master and Commander: Napoleonic Naval Warfare is a fast-playing naval combat game from White Dog Games set in the age of sail. Players manoeuvre sailing ships across a hex-grid sea, trying to cross the enemy’s T, bring broadsides to bear, board enemy vessels, or drive opposing ships from the battle.

The game can be played as a historical scenario, a duel, or a free-purchase battle where players build fleets using Ship Purchase Points. Rules cover crew quality, ship ratings, grappling, wind direction, drifting, collisions, firepower, movement, boarding combat, shore batteries, and marines, giving the game period flavour while keeping play accessible.

Contents include: an 8-page rulebook, 120 double-sided 1″ x 1/2″ ship counters, 88 5/8″ crew, marine, and miscellaneous markers, one 22″ x 17″ hex-grid sea game board, one 8.5″ x 11″ hex-grid sea template, and three historic Napoleonic naval scenarios.
