Ambush at LZ Albany depicts the North Vietnamese Army ambush of U.S. air cavalry units on 17 November 1965 during the Pleiku Campaign. Players manoeuvre U.S. and NVA platoons through jungle, sawgrass, and clearings, with leaders, artillery, air power, and random chit-driven impulses shaping the battle.

The NVA player aims to inflict maximum losses before U.S. firepower can turn the fight, creating a tense tactical Vietnam War game of ambush, survival, and battlefield response.
