Dragon vs Bear: China vs Russia in the 21st Century is an operational-level two-player game in which one player commands China and the other commands Russia. The game updates the premise of SPI’s The East is Red for a modern battlefield, with smaller but more technologically advanced forces and a focus on land power, air power, mobilization, national objectives, and weapons of mass destruction.

Scenarios present different causes for the war and different levels of mobilization, giving players several ways to explore a dangerous modern conflict between two major powers.
