Napoleon Retreats covers the dramatic later phase of the 1814 Campaign in France, as Napoleon manoeuvres against Blücher’s Army of Silesia and the Coalition advance toward Paris. After Vauchamps and Montereau, Napoleon attempts another rapid operational stroke, marching hard toward the Marne while Blücher retreats, receives reinforcements, and regroups beyond the Aisne.

The game includes the battles of Craonne, Laon, and Reims, using OSG’s Library of Napoleonic Battles system for operational movement, command decisions, tactical engagements, and historical campaign choices.

Note: the optional TLNB Universal Card Decks are not included. If you do not already have them from Napoleon’s Wheel or another OSG title, they can be ordered separately.

Contents include: game box, three 34" x 22" maps, one 22" x 17" map, 2 counter sheets with 560 die-cut units, 2 booklets, 16 player aid cards, and 5 resource cards.
