Overflight! is a solitaire Cold War reconnaissance game about the CIA’s U-2 spy plane program, Project AQUATONE.

Product Type: Component/game pack for a book-based solitaire wargame. Requires the separately sold Overflight! rulebook to play.

Set in 1956, the game puts you in the role of the CIA’s U-2 Program Director as your pilots fly deep into Soviet-controlled territory to photograph military installations and investigate Soviet claims about strategic bombers, nuclear weapons, and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Designed by Thomas Van Hare as part of the Special Missions Collection, Overflight! uses narrative solitaire play to recreate the risks of early Cold War intelligence gathering: long-range spy flights, political pressure, Soviet air defenses, and the constant question of whether the next mission will reveal the truth — or become an international incident.
