SOE: Lysander is a solitaire air war game about RAF Special Duties operations over occupied France during the Second World War.

You take the role of a pilot in “A” Flight of RAF No. 161 Squadron, flying a Westland Lysander by moonlight across the Channel to deliver agents, saboteurs, weapons, and ammunition to the French Resistance. Missions involve night navigation, bad weather, flak, enemy fighters, mechanical problems, improvised landing fields, and the constant risk of capture behind enemy lines.

Designed by Thomas Van Hare, this Special Missions Collection title combines card-driven play with dice-based action to recreate the tension of covert RAF operations in occupied Europe.

Contents include: 242 thick 5/8" counters, 54 character counters, 4 plane counters, 5 weather charts, 1 flight log, 1 flight management chart, and a 45-card SOE: Lysander deck.
