Stalingrad ’42 is a division-level World War II wargame covering the Axis 1942 summer offensive toward Stalingrad and the Caucasus, followed by the Soviet counteroffensive that trapped the German Sixth Army. Designed by Mark Simonitch, it uses the same broad system family as Ukraine ’43 while adding rules for the specific operational challenges of the campaign.

The game includes multiple scenarios, from shorter introductory and one-map scenarios to the full campaign, and this second edition also includes the Little Saturn / Winter Storm expansion material.

Contents include: two full map sheets, two half map sheets, three countersheets, five scenario cards, two identical player aid cards, one rules booklet, one playbook, two dice, plus Little Saturn / Winter Storm expansion counters, setup cards, player aid cards, and scenario rules flyer.
