Strike Them a Blow: 1864 North Anna River is the fifteenth game in MMP’s Civil War Brigade Series, covering the North Anna Campaign during Grant’s 1864 Overland Campaign.

The game brings the series into the late Civil War period, as Grant continues to press Lee southward after the Wilderness and Spotsylvania. The Union player must probe, manoeuvre, and try to break through toward Richmond, while the Confederate player must use terrain, river lines, and defensive positions to hold back a larger enemy force.

The campaign centres on the North Anna and Pamunkey Rivers, with the possibility of pushing beyond the historical flow of events. Can Lee keep Grant at bay and force the Union army into another costly deadlock? Or can Grant outmanoeuvre the Army of Northern Virginia and bring the war closer to an early end?

This is a strong choice for players interested in the Overland Campaign, late-war Civil War operations, and brigade-level ACW systems with detailed command and battlefield manoeuvre.
