The Enemy is at the Gates: The Battle for Berlin

The Enemy is at the Gates: The Battle for Berlin is a company-scale modern warfare game covering a hypothetical Warsaw Pact assault on West Berlin in 1985.

Players fight across a detailed urban battlefield as East German and Soviet forces attempt to crush the isolated NATO garrison before relief can ever matter. NATO commands the American, British, and French Berlin brigades, supported by West German police forces, while the Warsaw Pact brings overwhelming numbers, armor, artillery, and specialized assets.

Using the Company Scale System, the game features 500-meter hexes, two-hour turns, and a chit-pull activation system that creates uncertainty and strong solitaire suitability. Air power, helicopters, electronic warfare, chemical weapons, sabotage, and dense city terrain all shape the fight.
