World At War 85: Operation Red Gauntlet – Crossing the Mighty Weser

World At War 85: Operation Red Gauntlet – Crossing the Mighty Weser is an expansion for World At War 85: Blood and Fury, the second volume in Lock ’n Load’s platoon-level Cold War gone hot series.

Set in an alternate 1985 World War III, the expansion focuses on Warsaw Pact attempts to force crossings over the Weser River as Soviet forces drive deeper into northern West Germany. The new scenarios add more operational pressure, more map space, and new tactical challenges to the Blood and Fury battlefield.

The expansion includes five scenarios and nine new game maps. Four scenarios can be played with Blood and Fury and the material in this expansion. The large final scenario uses eight of the new maps and requires additional material from World At War 85: Storming the Gap and its expansions.

This is a useful addition for players who want to expand Blood and Fury with more scenarios, larger battlefield situations, and a major river-crossing challenge in the World At War 85 system.

Requires: World At War 85: Blood and Fury.
Also required for one scenario: World At War 85: Storming the Gap, Defense of Frankfurt, and Storm and Steel.
