The World At War 85 system is built for fast, violent platoon-level combat. Formation activation, initiative, random turn length, air support, morale, and counter-based unit data keep play moving without relying on a traditional combat results table. Both attacker and defender roll in combat, keeping both players involved throughout the battle.
