A Most Fearful Sacrifice: Pipe Creek – Meade’s Last Stand expands A Most Fearful Sacrifice, the Black Swan system game covering the Battle of Gettysburg.

This expansion explores what might have happened if Meade had withdrawn from Gettysburg and taken up his planned defensive line at Pipe Creek. It includes multiple what-if scenarios, including Confederate success on July 2nd, a fresh Union stand at Pipe Creek, and a more powerful version of Pickett’s Charge using additional Confederate regiments.

Pipe Creek also adds cavalry rules, Spencer repeating rifles, most of the cavalry from East Cavalry Field, and a new mounted map for the Pipe Creek battlefield.

It is ideal for players who enjoy A Most Fearful Sacrifice but want to push the system beyond Gettysburg into plausible alternate-history Civil War operations. Because apparently Gettysburg was not tense enough already.
