Gettysburg: July 1–3, 1863 is Volume IV in Worthington Publishing’s Civil War Brigade Battle Series. The game lets players refight the pivotal three-day Battle of Gettysburg at brigade level, using large counters, a large mounted battlefield, and the streamlined rules system used across the series.

The battle places Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia against George G. Meade’s Army of the Potomac in one of the most famous and consequential battles of the American Civil War. Players must manage command, terrain, timing, reinforcements, artillery, and morale as the fighting develops across the ridges, roads, hills, and approaches around Gettysburg.
