ASL Journal 13

ASL Journal 13 is a 52-page magazine for Advanced Squad Leader, combining articles, errata, scenario updates, new scenarios, and playing components.

This issue includes tactical and historical articles covering topics such as Hatten in Flames, hull-down positions, obscure ASL rules, radio contact, OBA probabilities and variants, Drop Zone: Sainte-Mère-Église, Forgotten War design notes, Korean War Royal Marines, and scenario analysis. The Debriefing section provides the latest errata and scenario updates.

The scenario package is substantial, with 33 new ASL scenarios printed on cardstock, including four pocket scenarios with the mapboard printed directly on the card. The actions range across World War II and into the Korean War, with forces including Japanese, Chinese, Finnish, Russian, French, German, Commonwealth, American, Italian, Partisan, Slovak, Polish, South Korean, North Korean, British, and Communist Chinese troops.

The issue also includes ASL board 77 and replacement overlay X20, making it useful as both a magazine and a component expansion for the ASL system.
