ASL Operation Neptune: British Crossing of the Seine

ASL Operation Neptune: British Crossing of the Seine is an ASL-compatible Historical ASL module covering the British assault crossing of the River Seine at Vernon, France, in late August 1944.

The module gives players a focused treatment of a forced river crossing and clearing operation, with British forces attempting to establish and expand a bridgehead while German defenders contest the town, river line, and surrounding terrain. The action can be played through individual scenarios or as a linked campaign game.

The historical map represents the Vernon area, including the Seine crossing, urban terrain, and nearby ground that shaped the battle. The module also includes special rules for the map terrain and campaign game, plus a divider card for quick reference during scenario and campaign play.

This is a good choice for ASL players interested in late-war British operations, river crossings, historical-map modules, and compact campaign-game play.

Requires: the Advanced Squad Leader core game system. Additional ownership requirements apply for all scenarios, including Beyond Valor, For King and Country or West of Alamein, and either Poland in Flames or Onslaught to Orsha 2 for selected BFP counters. Some scenarios also use boards from other ASL products.
