Imperium: Classics is an asymmetric civilization-building deck game for 1–4 players. Each player leads one of history’s great civilizations from its early state toward empire, using conquest, development, culture, resources, and careful deck management to outscore rival nations.

The game includes eight civilizations: Carthaginians, Celts, Greeks, Macedonians, Persians, Romans, Scythians, and Vikings. Each civilization has its own deck and solo opponent, giving the game strong replay value and very different faction identities. Imperium: Classics is fully playable on its own, and can also be combined with Imperium: Legends for a wider pool of civilizations.

Contents include: 8 civilization decks, 83 common cards, 4 state cards, 1 three-part market board, 1 solstice card, 21 exhaustion tokens, 18 action tokens, 6 slot markers, 1 six-sided die, and material, population, and progress tokens.
