Part of OSG’s The Library of Napoleonic Battles series, Napoleon’s Counterstrike covers the War of Liberation in Saxony and Silesia from August to October 1813. The battles include Löwenberg, Goldberg, Katzbach, Dresden, and Wartenburg, as Napoleon and his commanders try to regain the initiative against increasingly coordinated Coalition armies.

Designed for experienced Napoleonic wargamers, this series volume focuses on operational movement, command, battle approach, and the difficult timing decisions that define OSG’s campaign-battle system. It is a strong choice for players who enjoy large historical maps, detailed orders of battle, and the wider 1813 campaign context leading toward Leipzig.
