Red Storm: Baltic Approaches

Red Storm: Baltic Approaches is the first expansion for Red Storm: The Air War Over Central Germany, 1987, shifting the action to the western Baltic.

This expansion adds new air forces for Denmark, Sweden, and Poland, along with additional aircraft for existing nations, including US Marine Corps units. It also introduces naval units, anti-ship missiles, maritime weather, and new rules for air combat in a sea-heavy theater.

The scenario mix expands beyond the original game’s mission types, adding operations such as anti-ship raids, amphibious support, airborne drops, and aerial mining. Solo scenarios using the Red Storm bot system are also included.

This is a strong expansion for players who enjoy operational air warfare and want a broader Cold War battlefield with naval threats, maritime missions, and a more varied mix of aircraft and national forces.
