Red Strike: 1989 is an operational wargame simulating a hypothetical NATO–Warsaw Pact conflict in the summer of 1989. The game covers land, air, and naval warfare across Central Europe and the North Atlantic, while also tracking the wider strategic situation around the world.

Its detection, interception, and reaction systems create a highly interactive Cold War-gone-hot experience, with both sides constantly responding to threats across multiple domains. The North Atlantic naval and air war can be played as a standalone game or integrated into the campaign, where convoys, reinforcements, and supply can become decisive.
