Storming the Reich: D-Day to the Ruhr is an operational World War II wargame covering the Allied campaign in Northwest Europe from D-Day to the Ruhr Pocket.

Players command Allied and German forces across the campaign to liberate France, Belgium, and western Germany. The Allies must break out from the Normandy beaches, manage logistics, cross the Seine on schedule, and decide where to concentrate offensive momentum. The German player must delay, counterattack, and use limited quality formations carefully to slow the Allied advance.

The game emphasizes attrition, operational tempo, and supply pressure. Allied advantages in armor, airpower, naval gunfire, paratroopers, and specialist units are powerful, but keeping the advance moving creates hard logistical choices. For the Germans, reinforcements may arrive, but replacements are scarce, making each defensive stand and armored counterstroke matter.

With scenarios covering the full campaign, the Normandy breakout, and the Bulge-to-victory phase, Storming the Reich offers both shorter learning options and a larger campaign experience for players who enjoy division-level operational warfare.

Contents include: two maps, counters representing mostly division-level forces with some brigades and battalions, rules, scenarios, and supporting player aids for campaign and shorter scenario play.
