Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition – Foundations

This is an expansion, not a standalone game. A copy of Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition is required to play.

Foundations expands Ares Expedition for up to 6 players and adds a new terraforming metric: infrastructure. This new track fits along the top of the board and gives players another path to develop Mars, supported by new project cards focused on infrastructure strategies.

The expansion also includes extra player components, phase cards, player boards, and resource cubes, making it ideal for groups that want to bring more players to Ares Expedition while adding a fresh layer to the terraforming race.

Contents include: 1 supplemental score board, 1 infrastructure track, 10 phase cards, 20 upgraded phase cards, 20 new project cards, 2 dual-layer player boards, 1 card divider, 1 clear cube, 26 player cubes in two colours, 50 copper cubes, 12 silver cubes, and 12 gold cubes.
