The War: The Pacific, 1941–1945

The War: The Pacific, 1941–1945 is a strategic-level World War II wargame covering the Pacific Theater.

Built from concepts used in The War: Europe 1939–1945, this volume adapts the system to the very different demands of the Pacific War. Carrier warfare receives detailed treatment, while land campaigns, air power, naval operations, and the war in China all play important roles.

The game includes a wide range of scenarios, from smaller battles such as Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal, Leyte, and Okinawa to the full 1941–1945 Pacific campaign. It can also be combined with The War: Europe for a full global World War II campaign.

This is best suited to players who enjoy large strategic WWII games with high complexity, broad scope, and plenty of optional rules and variants.

Contents include: two maps, eight full sheets of 5/8” counters, approximately 20 full-color display and chart cards, rules booklet, scenario booklet, charts/tables/worksheet booklet, variant card deck, two dice, and a large 3” deep box with lid.
