Vietnam Solitaire: Special Edition

Vietnam Solitaire: Special Edition is an area-movement solitaire strategy game from White Dog Games covering the Vietnam War. The player controls U.S. and South Vietnamese forces, using Political Points to raise troops, move units, conduct operations, and try to control key regions of Vietnam while the game system directs the Vietcong and North Vietnamese Army.

The game includes both the original and Special Edition campaign games covering the wider war, plus three focused scenarios: Tet 1968, The Fall of South Vietnam, and The Easter Offensive. Optional two-player rules are also included, along with optional rules for Ruff-Puffs and limited B-52 effectiveness in Laos and Cambodia.

Victory depends on controlling at least three regions of Vietnam for the majority of the game, making the player balance military operations, political resources, air power, insurgency pressure, and enemy offensives.

Format: Solitaire strategy wargame with optional two-player rules.

Contents include: one 17″ x 11″ game board/map with charts and tables printed on the board, 88 thick laser-cut counters and markers, a 4-page original game rulebook, an 8-page Special Edition rulebook, and a 3-page Easter Offensive scenario rulebook.
