Wing Leader: Blitz

Wing Leader: Blitz is the first expansion for Wing Leader: Victories 1940-1942, adding new aircraft, scenarios, theaters, and a campaign system.

This expansion broadens the early-war air combat covered by the base game, with actions over France, Nomonhan, the Mediterranean, New Guinea, and the opening stages of the German invasion of the Soviet Union. New aircraft include French fighters, Soviet types, Japanese Ki-27s, P-39D Airacobras, Royal Navy Fulmars and Martlets, and more.

The major addition is a campaign system for Operation Barbarossa, complete with its own campaign map and tracking markers. Players must make decisions about targets, raid planning, bombing damage, and how to manage air operations during the desperate early weeks of the Eastern Front.

This is a strong expansion for Wing Leader players who want more early-war variety, new national air forces, and a campaign layer beyond individual scenarios.
