Chickamauga: River of Death

Chickamauga: River of Death is a two-player American Civil War folio wargame from Decision Games covering the Battle of Chickamauga in September 1863. Bragg’s reinforced Confederate army turns on the pursuing Union Army of the Cumberland, creating one of the Confederacy’s last major chances to destroy an entire Union army in the field.

Using the Musket & Saber Combat System, Chickamauga emphasizes deployment, maneuver, leaders, reserves, pursuit, routing units, and the lethal firepower of the rifled musket. Players must protect supply lines, manage weakened formations, and commit reserves at the right moment to hold the line or exploit a breakthrough.
