Paper Wars 101: Case Geld

Paper Wars 101: Case Geld is a Paper Wars magazine issue with an enclosed alternative history wargame about a bicoastal Axis invasion of North America.

Set in a world where Germany and Japan have already conquered the rest of the globe, the game covers simultaneous invasions of the United States from the Atlantic and Pacific. Units operate at army and corps level, with each hex representing 50 miles.

The unusual split-command structure gives the game its twist. Each player controls one American defensive front and one Axis invasion front, creating four competing commands and a very different kind of strategic tension. You are never only attacking or defending—you are doing both, and not always with the same side.

With two mapsheets, one countersheet, and low-intermediate complexity, this is a compact mini-monster for players who enjoy alternative history, unusual command structures, and big “what if?” scenarios.
