Von Manstein’s Triumph is a two-player card-driven wargame on the final assault against the Soviet fortress-port of Sevastopol in 1942.
Product Type: Standalone boxed wargame.
One player commands the German 11th Army during Operation Störfang, while the other commands the Soviet defenders trying to hold the key positions of Sevastopol. Players maneuver wooden block units across an area-based map, using cards to represent orders, historical events, equipment, and battlefield opportunities.
Victory depends on controlling critical defensive areas, with the Axis player pressing the assault and the Soviet player trying to delay, absorb, and hold under pressure. Von Manstein’s Triumph offers a focused treatment of a brutal siege battle with fog of war, card-driven decisions, and a compact operational feel.
