Storm Above the Reich

Each mission puts your pilots against a dangerous bomber “combat box,” where approach angle, weapons, timing, and survival all matter. You choose pilots, attachments, and supporting aircraft, then try to damage or break up the formation before time runs out—or before your squadron is torn apart.

The campaign is where the pressure builds. Pilots gain experience, suffer wounds, become aces, or are lost, while replacements arrive green and vulnerable. Across the war, bomber formations grow more dangerous, escorts become a greater threat, and the Luftwaffe’s situation becomes increasingly desperate.

Storm Above the Reich is standalone, but it can also be combined with Skies Above the Reich. Together, the two games expand the system with B-17s, B-24s, Bf109s, Fw190s, more formation maps, more pursuit maps, and additional tactical options.

This is a strong choice for solo players who enjoy narrative campaigns, WWII air combat, and tense tactical decisions where bringing your pilots home can matter as much as destroying the target.

Contents include: two double-sided map boards, off-map display, pilot roster and staffel log pad, countersheets, blocks, sticker sheets, attack and fire cards, player aids, pursuit and interception maps, rulebooks, situation manual, and two ten-sided dice.
